It's the heart of the Granite Belt and it'll soon be the heart of Rock 'N' Roll as Q Live presents Sounds From The Vines Festival, which brings together a blistering lineup of Australia's most iconic artists to the Stanthorpe Showgrounds on Saturday March 23 2019 for one massive show!

It may be the new festival in town but it will pack a hell of a punch with a lineup of absolute rock royalty featuring James Reyne, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Pseudo Echo and Boom Crash Opera.

Hit after hit, witness a day of legendary and unforgettable performances as Sounds From The Vines delivers this rare and impressive lineup for the region. Promoter, Rick Szabo says, "it is a privilege to be bringing Australian Rock at its finest to one of the most iconic regions in our state. Stanthorpe and its beautiful surrounds, it's your turn to have a quality music festival".

Headliner, James Reyne is an artist who needs no introduction. He has sold more than two million albums and written some of the most memorable Australian songs of all time. James has been a part of our lives since 1979 originally fronting iconic band Australian Crawl for seven years, releasing four studio albums in five frenetic years in the '80s. He's been a solo artist for the past 28 years, releasing eight studio albums, plus two acoustic collections, a covers album and two live albums. James Reyne's songs have provided the soundtrack to endless Australian summers, including "The Boys Light Up", "Reckless", "Beautiful People", "Lakeside", "Daughters Of The Northern Coast", "Fall Of Rome", "Hammerhead", "Motor's Too Fast" and "Slave".

In 2017, Baby Animals celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the record 'One Word', the bands highest charting Australian single from the debut self-titled album. Baby Animals have been a staple of the Australian rock n roll circuit since 1989 garnering domestic and international acclaim with hits including "Early Warning", "Rush You", "Don't Tell Me What To Do" and "Impossible To Fly". Lead singer Suze DeMarchi clearly has that indefinable magic that separates one artist from the crowd and makes them a star.

In the category of 'cult bands', Rose Tattoo has been at the top of the pile for years. Rose Tattoo, led with the unmistakeable voice of front man Angry Anderson, formed in Sydney in 1976 and are considered one of the most revered bands of all time. Their iconic hard rock mixed with blues rock influence was the soundtrack of many with hits including "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten" and "Scarred for Life".

Pseudo Echo pioneered the 80s with their stylized electro sound and have established themselves as one of the most iconic, multi award-winning and influential bands in the country, producing several Top 10 hits including "Listening", "A Beat for You", "Don't Go", "Love An Adventure", "Living in a Dream" and their global smash-hit "Funky Town" and gold and platinum albums "Autumnal Park", "Love An Adventure" and "Race".

Boom Crash Opera have always had a reputation for exciting live shows that blend boisterous, angular rock with soulful singing and a sense surging of joy and camaraderie. They have a classic repertoire of hit songs including "Onionskin", top 5 ARIA hit "Great Wall", "The Best Thing" and "Hands Up In The Air" to name a few.
